Drummer Stéphane Scharlé and bassist Édouard Séro-Guillaume, leaders and composers of the jazz ensemble OZMA, invite pianist Rémi Panossian from Toulouse and collaborate once again with video artist Romain Allard to create an original video-concert based on the exhibition “LABORATOIRE D’EUROPE, STRASBOURG 1880-1930”.
THE VIEW OF TODAY’S ARTISTS ON THE CREATORS OF THE PAST
From Anton Seder to Paul Signac, from modern jazz to minimalist pop, OZMA offers a new and sensitive way of understanding this exhibition through 11 selected works. 11 musical compositions accompany 11 video paintings as stages in a visual and sound journey through this abundant period of art history.
In parallel to their creative process, the artists carried out awareness-raising activities for 8 classes from various schools in the Strasbourg Eurometropolis.
