Fourth edition of the cross-border programme and career accelerator for jazz project leaders

PROPULSION #4 is a support programme and career accelerator aimed at leaders of jazz and related music projects from France, the Grand Est region, Luxembourg, French-speaking Belgium, and French-speaking Switzerland.

Three sections are available to candidates:

PropulsionLEAD, an experimental programme exclusively for women / FINTA.
Eligibility: 1 winner per region from the Grand Est, Luxembourg, French-speaking Belgium, and French-speaking Switzerland.

PropulsionBANDS, a development programme for jazz project leaders.
Eligibility: 1 winner per region from the Grand Est, Luxembourg, French-speaking Belgium, and French-speaking Switzerland.

PropulsionTRAINING, a specialisation programme designed for artists who are already at an advanced level but wish to further develop their professional skills.
Open to: 1 female musician / Finta and 1 male musician residing in France

Now involving four countries, Propulsion continues a training programme devised by Stéphane Scharlé and the teams at Compagnie Tangram, who aim to share their expertise to help musicians develop effective structures.

The main partners are LA COMPAGNIE TANGRAM in Strasbourg, the JAZZ STATION in Brussels, the ABBAYE DE NEIMENSTER and the TRIFOLION in Luxembourg, and the EMA in Geneva.

Propulsion is funded by the Œuvre Nationale de Secours Grande Duchesse Charlotte, the Grand Est Region, the Centre National de la Musique, the BNP Foundation, Adami, FAZZ, and Kultur LX.

The production partners are the town of Schiltigheim in partnership with Jazzdor, the Abbaye de Neimenster, the Colmar Jazz Festival, the Gaume Jazz Festival, Jazzus, the Boplicity Festival, the Jazz à la Petite France Festival and Gueulard +.
