Fabrique à JazzCULTURAL MEDIATION : JAZZ IN HIGH-SCHOOL

past

As part of the SACEM "Fabrique à Jazz" program, schoolchildren from Strasbourg were accompanied by OZMA musicians to a public performance

The Espace Django in Strasbourg, in partnership with the Compagnie Tangram, won the SACEM’s “Fabrique à Jazz” call for projects.

During the 2019-2020 school year, Stéphane Scharlé, Édouard Séro-Guillaume and Guillaume Nuss were to work with the orchestra class of the Stockfeld middle school, in partnership with the Centre Socio Culturel du Neuhof. However, due to the health situation, the action has been postponed to 2021.

The very young musicians of the Stockfeld secondary school orchestra, accompanied by the three OZMA musicians, were able to put together a repertoire of four pieces specially arranged for the occasion, which was the subject of a video recording at the Espace Django on 8 June 2021.
